On Friday 20 March 2026, join us for a very special night of live performances, sharings, and conversation at The Old Market. Experience music, talks, short films, video games, poetry, and more as some of the city’s brightest emerging artists - the Lighthouse Young Creatives 2026 cohort - share their work with a live audience.

This one-night-only event offers a unique chance to see new and experimental work in the making, that showcases the talent, creativity, and vision of young artists breaking through barriers in the creative industries. From live music and spoken word to work-in-progress films, games and installations, every performance and presentation reflects the individual voices and lived experiences of this next generation of creatives.

Come and be inspired by bold ideas, fresh perspectives, and the energy of young creatives shaping the future of the arts.

Featured Artists: Ava Aubrey Conboy, Barney Moseley, Ben Fry, Charlie Prior, Ethan Evans-Jesra, Frankie McCauley, Imogen Kiely, Jane Marlton-Howard, Juniper Seraphire, Leyla Abulhawa, Maeve Watts, Mickey Smith, Olivia Fleming, Rahul Naik, Vanessa Chang, Three Milne.

🎨 Artwork for Myriad is coordinated and designed by LYC member Three Milne @morethanthree_ who is part of Lighthouse Young Creatives 2025-26 cohort.

About Myriad, a nine-day group exhibition

This launch event introduces Myriad, a nine-day group exhibition at Lighthouse, showcasing an eclectic mix of mediums and voices developed by the LYC cohort over the six months of their programme.

The exhibition runs from Thursday 19 – Sunday 29 March, 12–6 PM, at Lighthouse, 28 Kensington Street, Brighton, BN1 4AJ (map). It’s FREE, just turn up! See details of the exhibition here.

About Lighthouse Young Creatives

Lighthouse Young Creatives is a personal and professional development scheme for young people in Brighton & Hove aged 16-25 who aspire to work in the creative industries but face exclusion through lack of access and barriers to participation.

First launched in 2018, the scheme equips participants with the skills, confidence and connections they need to enhance their employability, entrepreneurship and future career prospects through a six-month programme of production skills training, business development support, mentoring, showcasing and networking.
