We're proud to welcome our new Trustees to the Lighthouse Board as we prepare to celebrate our 40th year. Alongside our long-standing Trustees, they bring an inspiring mix of experience, insight and passion, united by a shared belief in the potential of young people and the power of creativity to change lives. Their expertise and fresh perspectives will help guide Lighthouse as we build on four decades of impact and shape our future.
Our Trustees are the only people we ask to give their time entirely voluntarily. They challenge our thinking, strengthen our governance and help ensure Lighthouse remains ambitious, resilient and true to its purpose. Their generosity, guidance and unwavering commitment help make our work possible.
As we mark our 40th year, every opportunity we create for a young person is strengthened by the people who choose to stand beside them. We're deeply grateful to every member of our Board for investing their time, expertise and belief in a future where every young person can thrive. Together, we're excited to continue supporting the next generation of creative talent for many more years to come.

“I'm so pleased to be joining the board of trustees at Lighthouse, a Brighton-based arts charity doing brilliant work championing young people aged 16–30 to shape the future of the creative industries.
Lighthouse is entering its 40th year, and it feels like a meaningful moment to get involved. Organisations like this are easy to overlook but vital to our communities - creative, resourceful, and quietly doing remarkable things. I'm looking forward to contributing however I can.”

As our new Trustees join us at this exciting moment in Lighthouse's journey, we're also inviting our wider community to help shape the next 40 years through our #LighthouseLegacy campaign. By becoming a regular supporter, you'll help ensure that young people from underrepresented backgrounds continue to have access to the opportunities, creative spaces and support they need to build confidence, develop their skills and shape the future of culture.
Together, we’re keeping the Lighthouse on. Be part of the #LighthouseLegacy.
