Lighthouse Young Creatives 2025–26 are now halfway through their six-month development programme.
So far, Lighthouse Young Creatives (LYC) participants have taken part in inspiring masterclasses including songwriting with Scarlett Fae, portrait photography with Ivan Weiss, and personal branding with Baxter & Bailey. Alongside this, they’ve been receiving mini-masterclasses from our expert mentors, covering idea development and storytelling with Myra and Simon from BRiGHTBLACK, interviewing for documentary with Callum and Jacob from CFI Media, photography with Sarah, and music production with Abraham and Kassia from the Rosehill.
Across the cohort, participants are exploring a wide range of interests and developing ambitious personal projects spanning video game design, music videos, documentary filmmaking, prop making, zine production, music, and sculpture.
A member of this year’s Cohort, Three will lead the branding for the showcase, including the design of the poster and marketing materials, with contributions from the rest of the cohort to shape the collective vision for the exhibition and launch event.
We’re looking forward to continuing work on their individual projects at the Rosehill - a cosy, creative space that will keep us energised through the winter months.
Quote from a participant: “LYC has been a really good way to meet people after I moved to Brighton. I look forward to it every week. It’s such a good space to be in.”
Join us to celebrate the incredible work of this year’s 16 participants at our showcase launch event on Friday 20 March at The Old Market, Hove.
This will be followed by an exhibition at Lighthouse on Kensington Street from Thursday 19 - Sunday 29 March 2026. SAVE THE DATE!
