Get ready to dive into the world of Elijah's yellow squares in a full 360 immersive experience. Join us on Friday 1 December for Make The Ting Live 360 and experience them like never seen before. Don't miss out; catch this new, exclusive gig, for one night only!
Elijah (former Lighthouse Associate Artistic Director, 2017-2018) is a DJ, Producer, Writer and Artist Manager from London primarily operating in the Electronic Music and Grime space. Over the past two years, he's been sharing his 15 years of experience working across the creative sector in short notes known as the Yellow Squares across Instagram and Twitter. This has developed into a series of lectures on creativity around the globe, and an album with Grime MC Jammz, which distills the messages into eight high-energy songs. They wrote it and recorded it in seven days and the performance will explore the lyrics, the process of making it, and how you can think about making your own 'tings' in 360 surround video.
Expect an unusual hybrid between live performance, art installation and lecture, made in collaboration with two members of Lighthouse Young Creatives (LYC), a six-month development programme for young people 16-25 facing barriers to the creative industries. A one-night-only experience. You don't want to miss it!
