Elijah & Jammz - Make The Ting LIVE 360 (Immersive Gig)

Get ready to dive into the world of Elijah's yellow squares in a full 360 immersive experience. Join us on Friday 1 December for Make The Ting Live 360 and experience them like never seen before. Don't miss out; catch this new, exclusive gig, for one night only!

(former Lighthouse Associate Artistic Director, 2017-2018) is a DJ, Producer, Writer and Artist Manager from London primarily operating in the Electronic Music and Grime space. Over the past two years, he's been sharing his 15 years of experience working across the creative sector in short notes known as the Yellow Squares across Instagram and Twitter. This has developed into a series of lectures on creativity around the globe, and an album with Grime MC Jammz, which distills the messages into eight high-energy songs. They wrote it and recorded it in seven days and the performance will explore the lyrics, the process of making it, and how you can think about making your own 'tings' in 360 surround video.

Expect an unusual hybrid between live performance, art installation and lecture, made in collaboration with two members of Lighthouse Young Creatives (LYC), a six-month development programme for young people 16-25 facing barriers to the creative industries. A one-night-only experience. You don't want to miss it!

Part of TOM’s immersive gig season - live music and 360 degrees of digital projections for audiences to experience gigs in a whole new way. Find out more here.

About Elijah

Elijah is a London-based writer, DJ, artist manager, and co-founder of the iconic record label, Butterz. He shares his thoughts on sustainable artistic creation, electronic music, grime, web3, community, social media and his various other interests in short notes, known as the Yellow Squares on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).

Having worked with Lighthouse as Associate Artistic Director (2017-18), Elijah has a longstanding relationship with arts organisations in and beyond the music industry, with the yellow squares making their way onto billboards and into football stadiums, as well as lecture halls across the globe.

Since 2021, Elijah has been sharing his 15 years of experience in and beyond the music industry through his Yellow Squares, a digital phenomenon that has made its way offline into both a lecture series and an eight-track album created with Grime MC, Jammz. Make The Ting was written and recorded in just seven days, with each track exploring the Yellow Squares as a gesture towards creative freedom and digital experimentation, with over one hundred listeners “remixing the ting” and producing their own original responses to the work.
