At Lighthouse, we host seven creative organisations who work from our office suites. Each of our tenants add to the vibrancy and diversity of day-to-day activities in the building, contributing to the creative environment. Our tenants are:
Artswork is a national youth arts development agency and a registered charity. Artswork’s mission is to place the arts at the heart of work with, for and by children and young people and to champion, lead and facilitate high quality work led by artists, arts and cultural organisations including the development of young arts practitioners/leaders.
Authentic Media is a financial consultancy that supports the creative industries, advising creators and investors on the best choices for their film, game and music projects. By providing structure to investment strategies and connecting existing media projects with investors, they enable both the businesses and projects to reach their full potential. Projects include the Oscar nominated film Margin Call, starring Kevin Spacey and Robot Wars, a game based on the film Robot Overlords.
Culture24, cultural digital publishers, exist to promote and support the cultural sector online. They’ve worked across the arts, heritage, education and tourism sectors since 2001. Their flagship websites are www.culture24.org.uk and www.show.me.uk. They have a team of 11, supported by a national volunteer network. Culture24 is a registered charity and independent limited company, governed by a board of trustees.
Liquid Light is an award winning web design agency. They have collected an extraordinary team of talented individuals over the past 15 years who, along with their creative thinking, cutting-edge design and technological know-how deliver, elegant user-centric solutions to clients all over the globe.
Media Molecule is a video game developer and creator of the BAFTA award winning titles LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet 2 and Tearaway. Emerging from the heart of the British Games Industry in Guildford, their new satellite studio in central Brighton is perfectly located to develop the web and community based features of their next collaborative creation experience, Dreams.
South East Dance
South East Dance is a national dance development organisation. Their mission is to ensure a thriving ecology for dance, enhancing conditions for more, bolder and better dance. They aim to raise the profile of dance and work with partners within and beyond the region to achieve this. Artists and audiences are at the heart of all they do and they listen to, challenge and champion their needs and aspirations.
Storythings is a creative studio that helps its clients tell stories in innovative and interesting ways. It was established by Matt Locke in 2011 and their clients include Archimedia, MOMA, the Arts Council, Pulse Films, Film 4, and How We Get To Next. They also run a regular conference called The Story which features engaging and inspiring stories from across a wide range of disciplines and areas of work.
