About

BFI Shorts 2012

BFI Shorts 2012 is an exciting new short film production scheme which will support up to 20 live-action fiction projects, with budgets ranging from £25,000 to £50,000.

Note to all Applicants

Due to the very high volume of submissions received, there has been a change to the timescale as originally set out in the guidelines. A number of interviews were held during the week commencing May 7th, with more to follow at the end of the month. Shortlisted candidates invited to these later interviews will be contacted by Friday 18th May. Our priority is to ensure that each application is given proper consideration. All applicants will be contacted with the outcome of their submission once a final decision has been reached. We thank you for your patience.

About the Scheme
