Daisy Allsop – Producer

Daisy began her career in 2000 in development and distribution, followed by three years in acquisitions for sales agent and financier Capitol Films. She then joined producer Nick Hirschkorn on Five Children & It, and helped him launch the film arm of his commercials company Feel Films in 2004.

As head of development for Feel, Daisy managed a slate of literary adaptations through development, production and distribution, including BBC series adaptation of Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, and was Associate Producer on Skellig starring Tim Roth, John Simm and Kelly Macdonald. She worked with Enlightenment Films as a consultant and Associate Producer on I Can’t Think Straight and the multi award winning The World Unseen.

Daisy is producing with Screen ‘Star of Tomorrow’ director David Leon through their company Zeitgeist Films. Their first feature, Orthodox, starring Stephen Graham and Michael Smiley, was financed by Ingenious and will be sold by K5.

As a writer, Daisy is represented by Casarotto Ramsay. She also works as a freelance script editor and development consultant. Daisy was a founder of Stellar Network UK, an organisation connecting professionals in film, and has served on panels and short film festival juries and taught numerous script development workshops.
