A 25-minute documentary film storying the creation of the controversial 2007 graffiti artworks in Kensington Street, Brighton. The artwork was commissioned by Brighton & Hove City Council as a solution to the deteriorating condition of the central Brighton street. Kensington Street is now widely regarded as one of the major tourist attractions in the city. This is the first chance to see the film.
Three daytime screenings will start from 12:30pm, and in the evening a Showcase screening at 7:30pm followed by a Q&A with all the featured artists. On the same day, there will also be a daytime exhibition in the gallery featuring work on canvas, and exhibits by all the featured artists. There will also be an installation in the conference room. If that's not enough, the artists will also be re-painting Kensington Street right outside Lighthouse all day.
