DIGIVILLE - Visual Conversation

Using their respective databanks of audio-visual material, both digital and analogue, Jorn Ebner and Monica Ross performed a live visual conversation. Without using words as their means of communication, the artists performed their ‘dialogue’ by showing audio-visual forms to one another in something of a ‘tit for tat’ exchange. The image/sound clips related to their individual and shared interests and the various aspects that inform their artistic practices.
Whilst they enacted their visual reciprocation, Jorn and Monica operated a live video that simultaneously recorded and replayed their performance on a monitor suggestive of a kind of inverted stadium rock concert.
