THE SOUND OF STORY: MY ONE DEMAND

PART OF BRIGHTON'S CINECITY FILM FESTIVAL

17 & 18 NOVEMBER 2015
BRIGHTON

AN EXPLORATION OF SOUND AND MUSIC IN STORYTELLING

Blast Theory co-founder, Matt Adams and sound recordist and mixer Evan Jerred present a case study of the groundbreaking interactive film My One Demand at The Sound of Story 2015: two days of talks, screenings and workshops that explore the creative potential of sound in the storytelling process.

At The Sound of Story, Adams and Jerred will talk us through the creative and production challenges they faced delivering multi-layered sound on the interactive film My One Demand, which premiered at Luminato Festival in Toronto early in 2015. Filmed as a single continuous shot, and streamed live online and in cinemas, the film follows seven people as they stride out across Toronto, delivering a tale of unrequited love.
