REFRAMED 2017: DANIEL LOCKE
INTERACTIVE AND IMMERSIVE STORYTELLING
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CREATIVE ENGLAND
Daniel Locke is a speaker at Reframed 2017: two days of talks and workshops.
Daniel Locke’s work has regularly featured in a wide variety of illustration and comics anthologies, and publications. His first full length graphic novel, Out of Nothing, will be published by Nobrow Press later this year.
Daniel has completed a large number of commissions for organisations such as the Wellcome Trust, The Arts Council and The National Trust. He often collaborates with other artists and scientists. Alongside producing the final artwork for Out of Nothing, Daniel is currently illustrating a history of the careers of noted neurologists Profs. Uta and Chris Frith, with writer Alex Frith.
In late April of this year, Daniel will be working at Virtually Reality in London, with storyteller Karrie Fransman on a new Arts Council Project, to produce a virtual environment using Google Tilt Brush to explore ideas around the ecological concept of ‘Rewilding’ (reducing the dependence of ecosystems on human management).
