MUSIC AND THE SOUNDTRACK - WORKSHOP
ThinkSync Music founder Connie Farr took part in workshop during Lighthouse's December event The Sound of Story.
Connie now runs the music supervision service within ThinkSync, catering for all levels and stages of production from shorts, trailers and promos through to feature films, with a priority being music supervision for independent feature films and international film trailers/ TV spots.
Past projects include Working Title’s remake of The Borrowers, Dreams of a Life for Film4, Lilting which opened last year’s Sundance and Grand Jury winner of SXSW Gimme The Loot. Current projects include the film adapatation of Martin Amis’ London Fields, Andrew Haigh’s 45 Years and various other upcoming productions for Film4, BBC London, Sky and the BFI.
Connie is also the in-house Music Supervisor at the UK office of LA-based movie services house Ignition Creative, working on numerous TV promos and international film trailers (Dracula Untold, Lucy, Oblivion, 47 Ronin, Misfits etc).
Connie took part in the Music and the Soundtrack workshop with composer Stuart Earl, to provide expertise and guidance on all aspects of working with original and licensed music.
