THE SOUND OF STORY 2015: BURSARIES
PART OF BRIGHTON'S CINECITY FILM FESTIVAL
18 NOVEMBER 2015
AN EXPLORATION OF SOUND AND MUSIC IN STORYTELLING
This November, Lighthouse presents The Sound of Story: two stimulating days of talks, masterclasses and workshops featuring a stellar line-up of world-class sound professionals, including wildlife sound recordist Chris Watson (Frozen Planet), sound artist Magz Hall (Radio Minds) and sound editor and designer Glenn Freemantle (Gravity).
We are pleased to be able to offer a limited number of fully subsidised places for the craft and technical workshops being held on the second day of the event. Financial assistance is also available to subsidised participants who need it for travel, accommodation and other access-related costs incurred when attending. This support will be determined on a means-tested basis. Find out more about the workshops here: The Sound of Story 2015.
Due to the nature of our funding, the subsidised places are only available to professionals working in sound in film, TV and other related fields. These may include, but are not limited to: Production Sound Mixers/Recordists, Boom Operators, Foley Artists, Sound Designers/Editors, Dialogue & ADR Editors, Sound Re-Recording Mixers and Sound Effects Editors.
If you wish to discuss your circumstances further, please contact Sarah Ticho at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The application deadline is November 11th. Successful applicants will be notified on November 13th.
