A powerful mix of talks, screenings, workshops and vanguard performances, The Long Progress Bar 2015 united some of the most exciting international creatives, thinkers and radical change-makers shaping our world through art, music, design, technology, economics and social innovation.
The festival attracted more than 180 visitors to hear guests speak on Day 1 – including musician and sound artist, Holly Herndon; Channel 4’s award-winning economics editor, Paul Mason and design and research studio, Metahaven. On Day 2, many of the speakers from Day 1 joined visual artist and musician, Mat Dryhurst; leading economist, author and basic income advocate, Guy Standing; artist and musician Lars TCF Holdus; and strategist, Benedict Singleton held a series of inspiring, educational and playful workshops and ask-me-anything sessions.
