TEACHMEET BRIGHTON - GETTING CREATIVE

BRIGHTON DIGITAL FESTIVAL 2013

26 SEPTEMBER 2013
BRIGHTON

ARE YOU AN EDUCATOR INTERESTED IN THE APPLICATION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING?

TeachMeet Brighton is getting creative! Share your ideas and get inspiration about how to use digital technologies in art, design and music. How can you use digital technologies across the curriculum to encourage students to think creatively?

TeachMeets are teacher-led free CPD with teachers, tutors and lecturers sharing ideas about what works in practice. They are a fun and informal way to share great teaching ideas.

How participants got involved:
Two or seven minute presentation – Participants shared how they use digital technologies, or highlighted a resource, tool or activity that they use to engage students and support learning
Participate from the floor – Participants asked questions and heard from other digitally inspired educational professionals!

Many educators from schools, colleges and universities shared amazing, informative presentations packed with ideas. There were talks on online record labels, class blogs, flipped classes, resources and more!

TM Brighton is organised by Digital Education Brighton a Brighton-based network of educationalists and digital companies that work together to support more effective use of digital technologies in education.

TeachMeet was FREE of charge. Drinks and light refreshments were provided.
