Lighthouse welcomed SheSays for their special networking event for Brighton Digital Festival.
SheSays returned to Lighthouse for a special event as part of Brighton Digital Festival 2013. Speakers at the event included:
Journalist Urmee Khan is currently working for BBC News Channel and Al Jazeera English. Before getting into TV news, Urmee spent 10 years working in national newspapers. She was the Digital and Media Correspondent at the Daily Telegraph, a commissioning editor for The Guardian, an investigations reporter and a freelance journalist in Brazil. @urmeek
Senior Brand Manager Emily Scoggins currently works at McDonald’s, managing campaigns across TV, Print, Outdoor and Digital. Her achievements include winning the Marketing Society’s Grand Prix award and being a D&AD Student Awards Judge. Emily’s impressive CV includes the Sunday Times, Sainsbury’s and Vodafone as well as award-winning digital work for BBC One and Drama. @emilyrocks
Viviana Doctorovich is a Senior User Experience Designer at Clearleft. Her background includes product design, fine arts, photography, film-making and psychology. She’s a born problem solver and passionate about creating great experiences. @vivdoc
