Inspirational talks and workshops by leading technology experts at Brighton schools
As part of Brighton Digital Festival (September 2011), Lighthouse has developed an education programme that introduces young people to inspiring ways of using digital technology.
One of Brighton’s leading experts on user experience in design, Aral Balkan, will be visiting schools in Brighton this September, to give inspiring talks to young people about new mobile technologies, digital design and interaction software. This will be mixed with demonstrations of building and developing experiences for mobile devices, such as iPhones, and how new technologies are changing the way we experience life.
Aral Balkan is a designer, developer, author, teacher, entrepreneur, and performer; a Renaissance Geek with a passion for designing user experiences and a desire to make the world a better place through technology and oratory. He has organised the conference Update – The Human Touch: iOS and Beyond, which takes place on 05 September. for Brighton Digital Festival
Aral Balkan also teaches iPhone Development training courses for developers at Lighthouse.

School Talks with Aral Balkan are part of the PARN project (Physical and Alternate Reality Narratives) which designs, develops, creates, exhibits and analyses contemporary forms for storytelling in a pan-European context.
