IndieWebCamp UK 2013

7 - 8 SEPTEMBER 2013
BRIGHTON

OWN THE CONTENT YOU CREATE. PUBLISH ON YOUR OWN DOMAIN.

Our content is becoming more important, and sometimes even critical to our lives. It is not secure in the hands of random startups, organisations and web companies. We should be the holders of our own data.

Lighthouse were pleased to host IndieWebCampUK 2013. We were joined for two days by web creators building and sharing open web technologies to empower users to own their own identities & content, in a BarCamp-style gathering to advance the state of the indie web.

Own your data.
Rather than posting content on third-party silos of content, we should all own the content we’re creating.
Publish on your own domain, and syndicate out to silos.
