FILM HUB SOUTH EAST PROGRAMME AWARDS - OPEN CALL LAUNCHED
Apply now for support for your Audience Development projects
Applications are now open for a new round of the Film Hub South East Programme Awards. Film Hub South East is part of the BFI Film Audience Network (FAN), and works to increase audience exposure to specialised and British Independent film in the South East.
£20,000 has been allocated to support Audience Development projects in this first round, with another round of funding to run between November 2014 and February 2015.
The aim of the Programme Awards is to boost audience choice and increase audience engagement in independent British and specialised film across the South East. Film Hub South East want to support high-quality, distinctive, diverse film exhibition projects of scale and ambition. The level of investment in successful projects will be between £1000 and £5000.

Film Hub South East is part of the BFI Film Audience Network (FAN), and one of nine regional organisations working across the UK to expand knowledge of and access to specialised and UK Independent film through programming and related activities (e.g. talks, discussions, digital presence), challenging and enriching audiences of all ages and interests.
Led by the University of Brighton, Film Hub South East is managed by a consortium that includes Lighthouse, Picturehouse Cinemas, Cinecity, Screen Archive South East, with support from Brighton & Hove City. The counties included in the FHSE region are: Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, West Sussex, Surrey, East Sussex and Kent.
