Digital Theatre presents Lovesong + Q&A
Supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. Frantic Assembly and Drum Theatre Plymouth in association with Chichester Festival Theatre.
“That is the story of our beginning. And this is the story of…the end”
Created by Frantic Assembly, Lovesong intertwines a couple in their 20s with the same man and woman a lifetime later. Their past and present selves collide in this haunting and beautiful tale of togetherness. All relationships have their ups and downs; the optimism of youth becomes the wisdom of experience.
Written by the critically acclaimed Abi Morgan, whose film and television credits include The Iron Lady, Shame, Birdsong and the Golden Globe award nominated hit television series, The Hour. Filmed by Digital Theatre.
Scott Graham and Steven Hoggett’s production is often deeply moving… Superbly eloquent choreography.
Lovesong is compelling, understated perfection.
…only the hard of heart will remain completely unmoved.
Like love itself, Lovesong can take your breath away.
