Alternate Realities 2019 | October 12-20
Selected works from the Sheffield Doc/Fest programme, presented as part of Brighton Digital Festival 2019
12-20 October, 12-6PM
Lighthouse, BN1 4AJ
As part of the 2019 Brighton Digital Festival, we are exhibiting three interactive and immersive artworks from the internationally renowned Sheffield Doc/Fest Alternate Realities exhibition.
The three artworks enable intimate encounters with people and places, and include a virtual reality piece, an interactive documentary, and an installation that allows you to step into someone else’s shoes through a virtual mirror. In an increasingly divided world – be that politically, economically or ideologically – this exhibition connects us to individuals, lives and stories that we would not necessarily encounter.
The exhibition is not suitable for children under the age of 13.
Alternate Realities is free, booking is required for Common Ground.
