Laboratory Life goes on tour to Hong Kong, as part of Microwave, the International Media Arts Festival. This year’s edition was entitled Alchemy, with arts and media labs from all over the world coming together to show what can be done when you mix up art, science and technology to produce new, exciting states of making. Lighthouse Goes Global – Exhibition in Spain now open
Invisible Fields is one of two exhibitions Lighthouse have produced around the world this month, and is our first show in Spain. This major international show explores the radio spectrum and its effects on our everyday lives. We’re excited to report about the successful launch of the exhibition. Sea-change commissioned artist Claire Hooper has been shortlisted for the prestigious Jarman Award for her innovative, visionary work. Hooper has been commissioned by Lighthouse, Picture This and Film London to create a new artists’ film during 2011.
