As we near the end of 2014, we reflect on the many successes of our BFI Shorts filmmakers. Managed by Lighthouse, the BFI Shorts scheme is a high-level production initiative that supported emerging film talent by providing them with opportunities to demonstrate their feature film potential. Over the past 12 months, we’ve been delighted to see the filmmakers variously shoot first features, win development and production funding, and even reach the last 10 films long-listed for a possible Oscar nomination.
Lighthouse is seeking a Chair and Trustees to support an ambitious new phase of development. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in evolving a leading international contemporary culture organisation.
