New Guiding Lights Mentors Announced

Lighthouse is delighted to announce new Guiding Lights mentors, including film legend, Kenneth Branagh and Academy award-winner, Simon Beaufoy. By Emily Kyriakides, Programme Producer

Testament to the scheme’s standing as the UK film industry’s leading mentoring programme, Guiding Lights continues to attract some of the biggest names in film. For the current edition we are proud to welcome:

Tim Bevan – producer (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Atonement)

Kenneth Branagh – writer/director/actor (Thor, Hamlet)

Lone Scherfig – director (An Education, One Day)

Simon Beaufoy – writer (127 Hours, Slumdog Millionaire)

Kris Thykier – producer (The Debt, Kick Ass)

Mark Herbert – producer (This is England, Four Lions)

Each mentor has been matched with one of our talented Guiding Lights participants, and will provide advice and guidance over a nine-month period.
