Lighthouse is delighted to announce that it will continue to receive funding as part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio, a network of galleries, theatres and museums that forms the backbone of England’s arts and cultural landscape.

The funding will be used to continue to support the most exciting artists and filmmakers working at the intersection of art, technology and digital culture by commissioning and exhibiting their work, and will enable Lighthouse’s next phase of development, which will be led by incoming Artistic Director and CEO, Alli Beddoes.

The news is further recognition of the organisation’s impact and influence locally, nationally and internationally and its potential for future growth as a UK leader in digital culture.

Lighthouse’s Executive Director, Miriam Randall, says: ‘This investment gives Lighthouse a solid foundation to build on for an exciting new phase, developing creative talent, innovative projects and engaging new communities across the UK and internationally.’
