Shona Illingworth worked with several different sixth form groups over the period of the project. Although the majority of work was done with the art/graphics group she also had input into the media group and a group of technical graphics pupils. Apart from one media pupil who completed a piece which visually explores prevailing attitudes to different types of music, the work shown here is from the arts /graphics group. These pupils used elements of chosen films as the starting point to develop a sequence of images that explored issues and concerns derived from the film footage. The images were sequenced into slide presentations and accompanying sound was selected. The slide shows are represented here by edited image sequences with sound loops taken from the original sound tracks.
