Catherine Allen – Virtual Reality Producer and Curator
Catherine specialises in immersive experiences for broad and diverse audiences. For the BBC, she has produced Easter Rising: Voice of a Rebel, one of the BBC’s first VR documentaries, and No Small Talk, a 360° talkshow, aimed at young women.

Mark Atkins – Director, Crossover
Crossover is a international training organisation and production company, running labs and workshops for film/TV producers and directors, games developers, web designers. Mark also curates exhibitions and conferences on Immersive Media with international festivals and events such as Sheffield Doc/Fest, Bergen International Film Festival and The Global Health Film Festival.

Tom Millen – Director, Crossover
Tom specialises in the production and exhibition of immersive content at Crossover, and previously produced the Alternate Realities strand at Sheffield Doc/Fest, overseeing the production of the interactive exhibition, VR Arcade and year round cross-media training.

Robin McNicholas – Co-founder and Creative Director, Marshmallow Laser Feast
MLF is an award-winning creative studio, which has produced numerous large-scale installations, including live performances, VR and mixed reality experiences, and at the forefront of developments into multi-sensory narrative techniques.

Matt Locke – Director, Storythings
Matt is the founder of Storythings, a content studio delivering strategy and media projects for clients including Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Google, Faber & Faber, BBC and Film 4. Previously, he was Commissioning Editor and Head of Multiplatform at Channel 4, and Head of Innovation at BBC New Media.

Simon WilkinsonCirca 69
Described by Cineuropa Magazine as “one of the most notable names in Europe to be dealing with VR”, Simon’s work incorporates audiovisual, installation, VR, electronic music, and online and performance mediums, and has been featured at Tate Modern as well as touring internationally. He guest lectures at universities worldwide.

Paul Hayes – Paul is an experienced programmer, creative technologist and developer, who worked on BAFTA award-winning projects as Lead Programmer at Plug-in Media, and now specialises in VR development including racing game Radial-G, motion control platforms for VR arcade machines, and installation Dark Ride for the Oculus Rift.

Nick Driftwood & Donna CloseDriftwood
Driftwood works with the art and technology of immersive cinematic experiences, and is run by filmmaker, writer and technologist Nick Driftwood, and producer, event-maker, strategist and curator Donna Close.
