Harry Macqueen – Writer

Harry trained as an actor at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and has since worked extensively on stage and screen. He is currently starring in Provenance opposite Christian McKay and Charlotte Vega and received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor for the role at the 2017 Madrid Film Festival.

In 2015 he wrote, directed, produced and starred in Hinterland which played in more than thirty UK cinemas and was distributed by Soda Pictures. The film was nominated for Best UK Feature at Raindance and Best Debut Film at the Beijing International Film Festival. It was shortlisted for Best British Debut and the Breakthrough Brit Award at the 2016 BAFTA Awards.

Currently, he is in pre-production on his second feature Supernova which is being produced by Emily Morgan, Tristan Goligher at The Bureau. He is also co-writing a comedy series for television with Slam Films and is the 2017 recipient of the Wellcome Trust Broadcast Development Award.
