Elation Pictures: Kamilla Kristiane Hodøl and Emilie Jouffroy – Producers
Supported by the BFI’s Vision Awards, Elation Pictures is a UK based film, TV and digital content production outfit, set up by award-winning producers Kamilla Kristiane Hodøl and Emilie Jouffroy.
Kamilla has produced the BAFTA-nominated short film Manoman, IDA-winning Archipelago and Aspen-winning Thanks for Dancing. Her films have been selected for festivals including Sundance, Cannes, BFI London Film Festival, Clermont-Ferrand, SXSW and Telluride. Previously, Kamilla has worked for the BFI as Delegate Service Manager for London Film Festival 2015, and is a graduate of the MA Producing degree at the National Film and Television School.
Emilie Jouffroy has produced several short films including the BAFTA, Sundance and BIFA award-winning Edmond. Previously, she has worked at The Imaginarium Studios and at Film and Music Entertainment, where she worked on projects such as Venice Orizzonti opener The President, and Volker Schloendorff and Colm Toibin’s Montauk. Emilie recently produced Diagnosis, a BBC Films-funded short directed by Eva Riley.
Kamilla and Emilie are currently developing an eclectic slate of projects across a variety of genres, including a character-driven thriller with Stephen Fingleton, an Iceland-set horror with Jamie Hannigan and Thordur Palsson, a dystopian thriller with Jenna Jovi, a short adapted from a Kevin Barry story with Rachna Suri and Paddy Cambell and an unclassifiable love story with Simon Cartwright.
